Classes can have up to 10 people and are offered at the following times:

Group 1 - Saturday Mornings - 9 am to 11:30 am

Class Cost:
This class costs $260 per person and includes taxes and all tools and materials, firing and glazes.

Classes are held at Ceramique Centrale

Term Length: 3 weeks, 2.5h / week, 7.5h in total.

Tuition: $260.00 total

Registration Fee: A $130 registration fee is required when registering. It is the first part of your tuition. It is non-refundable in case of withdrawal.

By registering, The participant agrees to follow the 7.5-hour course and to disburse the remaining tuition amount before or at the first class. No refunds will be made after the classes begin. Students will be contacted in the 2-3 weeks following the session in order to pick up the finished pieces.

Class Content

In the handbuilding session students will learn basic pinching and slab building with slump mounds.

In the throwing session students will learn how to begin making cylinders.

All successful pieces can be kept for glazing.

Materials

All clay, tools, glaze and firing is included in the price of the class. Clay will be prepared in advance for the class.

All the materials used in the studio are non-toxic and food safe.

Preparations & Making up for Missed Classes

You’ll get clay on you, so wear something comfortable that you won’t mind getting clay on. Aprons will be available for your use in the studio. Clay washes out easily without stains. A hand towel will be provided for each class. When you try throwing, it is recommended you don’t wear any hand jewelry, and that you have very short fingernails. 

For this class, there are no possibilities to make up the classes if missed.

The classes will be taught in English with bilingual teachers.
